Bryant’s interest in truckers started early. It was the garbage men that would come by his house when he was younger that first piqued his interest. “Every time the garbage men would come down the street, I would always run to the window or run outside and watch,” he remembers. “They wore these sleeveless shirts, and the ones we had were like very muscular.” As he got older, he says, he moved on from garbage men to truckers—they share that same gruff ruggedness he was attracted to.
These days , he’s a truckstop cruising expert. “if I'm real horny and want to go on an adventure,” he says, “I'm not gonna go to a park, I'm gonna go to a truck stop every fucking time.” For Bryant, It’s not just the truckers themselves, it’s the whole environment of a truckstop. “It's really like vintage cruising because most of these guys aren't on the apps,” he says. “It’s that really gritty, DL experience that you see in porn or that you imagine.”

But, he warns, cruising a truck stop is not for beginnings. This is advanced level cruising, and you should be an expert on reading vibes, feeling out strangers’ interest, and staying aware of your surroundings if you’re even going to attempt to cruise at a truckstop. This is not for the faint of heart.
You’ll set yourself up for success by arriving having dressed the part, Bryant advises. Leave the daisy dukes at home, he says, and stick to something more akin to jeans and work boots. “It makes you more approachable,” Bryant says.
The best way to start is to strike up a conversation. Approach a trucker—one who seems open, who isn’t busy, and isn’t in the back of their cab with their curtains drawn, for instance—and “ask about their job,” he advises. Begin to establish a rapport, and as you chat you can start to feel out is he might be open to a connection—chatting, or something more. You should be taking stock of his body language and monitoring the vibe closely. If he averts his eyes as you approach, that’s likely a signal that he’s not looking.
If things go according to plan, and you get the sense that the trucker is friendly, you can start dropping hints. Bryant starts by asking leading questions. “I bet you have a lot of fun in here by yourself,’ he’ll ask. “What's the craziest thing you've ever done?” If they hesitate or seem uncomfortable, that’s you’re sign to abandon ship. If they grin, on the other hand, you might be on the road to your own truckstop cruising success story.

Keep in mind that the guys you’ll be talking to are likely DL, and might not have a whole lot of experience with guys at all. Tread slowly and carefully. Still, Bryant says, truckstop trade might be more common than you’d think. “These are people that are on the road. They want to be alone.” he says. “There's a reason they want to be alone, probably because they like doing things on their own time, in their own way.”
And if you strike out, Bryant says, that’s part of the game. Truckstop cruising is not for the impatient. You are there for the long game,” he says. “This is not a bath house where you're going to go from conversation to choking on a guy's cock in five minutes.” Be observant, stay cautious, and take your time.
