Beaches, Bad Bunny, a quick gaycation escape — these are things we think of when we think of Puerto Rico, but it's so much more than that. PR is one of the richest queer communities in the world, so Sniffies is on the ground in San Juan with this extra special travel episode.
We dive deep into the world's oldest colony: health disparities, political movements, activism, nightlife, and perreando. How do Puerto Ricans cruise, party, and thrive on their own terms?
Our guests are Vico Ortiz and Ane Hernandez, hosts of the bilingual podcast “Mucho Mucho Amor,” who join us with all the context and joy this conversation deserves.
Plus, we conduct some field reporting talking to queer Puerto Ricans on the street!
