We kicked off this season with a raunchy episode about cumdumps, and we’re going out the same way we came in: with a provocative episode about bullying in the bedroom or “degradation and humiliation” as it’s more commonly known. Our show this week features Gabe and Chris exploring domination, submission, humiliation and degradation play with two pleasure educators from different sides of the binary: submissive Bobby Boxx, and dominant sadist Dominion Onyx.
This episode spoke to my own interests— I enjoy when a self-identified “alpha” calls me a loser or a faggot during sex—but it’s also something that’s become more visible in online adult spaces recently. You’ll come across guys appearing in exposure videos, begging people to expose them as a loser or a faggot or some other term of dis-endearment. We have also seen the rise of the finsub/findom scene, in which dominants drain the bank accounts of their clients, a form of financial degradation, humiliation and dominance. These kinks are nothing new, they date back over a century and more. Our first guest, Bobby Box, breaks down what exactly is so alluring for submissives in these dynamics.
Dominion Onyx stopped by as our final guest for the season, and he did not disappoint. He shared wild and raunchy tales of his own journey as a sadist, and his adventures as part of the Black kink fraternity ONYX. Plus, a heavy amount of hilarious flirting with both Chris and Gabe, and of course, practical tips for anyone interested in playing as a dominant with submissives.
Gabe and Chris don’t bring this type of play into their own sex lives, but by the end of the episode they express a deeper understanding and appreciation of the way some people’s kinks really do stem from formative experiences like bullying. They discover, as you listeners hopefully will, that for some people, bringing these things into their sexual selves can help, if it’s done consensually and with a lot of conversation first.
