Like a lot of people, you’re probably used to logging onto the Sniffies map via your phone’s web browser—or on your desktop computer if you’re a real freak. But we get it—sometimes you don’t have time for all that. Now, instead of opening your browser, and typing Sniffies into the address bar, we’ve got a way to add Sniffies as an app to your homepage.
That means you can access the Sniffies map more quickly. Basically—faster messaging, faster meetups.
Here’s how to set it up.

How to add Sniffies to your home screen if you’ve got an iPhone
If you’ve been cruising the map on an iPhone, you can add Sniffies to your homescreen with the rest of your apps, and enable notifications for new messages in just a few steps.
-
Make sure your iOS is updated to the latest version. Open your web browser—Chrome, Safari, or Firefox—and log onto the Sniffies map.
-
Once the map loads, tap the share icon in the address bar if you’re using Chrome or Firefox. On Safari, tap the three dots icon next to the address bar, then tap share.
-
From the share menu, tap “Add to Home Screen.”
-
Double check that the Sniffies icon has appeared on your homescreen, and you’re ready to cruise.
How to add Sniffies to your home screen if you’ve got an Android
Since Android users can install apps that exist outside of the Google Play store, they’ll be able to download a native Sniffies app to their phone.
- On your Android device, go to sniffies.com. If you’re logged in, make sure you log out and are redirected to the home screen.
-
At the top of the screen, tap “Download” in the top banner and follow the prompts to enable unknown sources and complete the installation.
There you go—in just a few steps you’re ready to check out the Sniffies map directly from your home screen. Happy cruising.
xx,
Sniffies
